Gulf Hotel Bahrain

My wife and I checked in around midnight on the 20th of February 2024, we had a smooth check in and the duty manager went out of his way to help us choose a room of our liking by showing us three different rooms!!! That was exceptional! We had booked a standard room, but we were upgraded to deluxe category. The dining options at the Gulf Hotel are just unbelievable...and they have live music at most of the venues and we had a wonderful time at the mexican restaurant Cantina with live music and dance. The ambience of the bar is amazing too with both indoor and outdoor sitting. In all, the Gulf has seven to eight restaurants offering different cuisines like Italian, Mexican, Iranian, etc. They also have a plush cigar lounge.. The pool at the Gulf is just outstanding and whether you're with family or by your self it is the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon or evening. To top this all is the location.... you step out of the Gulf right onto Block 338 which is the most happening area in Manama, full of bars, restaurants and lounges where the action begins as early as 10 am and continues till the wee hours. Breakfast at the hip Cafe Lilou is a 'must do' for anyone visiting Manama!

Stay here 2-3 times/year. Good location and facilities

The room was clean and inviting and loved the face we were given a free upgrade to the top level floor upon arrival. The location was great and it was easily accessible from the causeway. Love the Spa facilities also that were included in our stay, such as the gym and spa. The pool was delightful but could do with a little tlc.

All the staff at the Gulf Hotel are amazing. The customer experience is first class and should be commended. I stayed over my birthday and was presented with a beautiful birthday cake on the day of my birthday. This little gesture and the high levels of service are what is really appreciated and why I will always choose The Gulf Hotel when staying in Bahrain.
