More or less a perfect place to start sightseeing’s from this place. Restaurants and Bars are very close. Staff acts professionally and friendly. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Many different restaurants in this hotel. Nice.

Fantastic location adjacent to the best area in Bahrain for restaurants and night life. The hotel is huge, with 3 separate buildings. We booked a two bedroom suite which was in the executive apartments, and was excellent and great value. Two bedrooms both with bathrooms (not mentioned on this site) a guest toilet, and a lounge and kitchen diner. The hotel has a diverse range of restaurants of high quality. The Spa is top notch and the health club/gym is great. All the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

The staff were amazing, kind, courteous and so so helpful. The included breakfast was lovely and me and my daughter had a great time playing in the pool whilst the wife was sunbathing 😊

Staying at Gulf Hotel Bahrain was undoubtedly one of my best experiences worldwide. I was truly impressed by the professionalism, hospitality, and dedication of the staff. It’s evident that their ultimate goal is to serve guests and exceed expectations—whether reasonable or unreasonable. The team is incredibly friendly, always smiling, and ready to assist without waiting to be asked. A special thanks to Mr. Khalid at the front office for his professionalism and genuine attitude. He exemplifies excellence in hospitality and sets a standard that should be taught in professional hospitality institutions. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, well-maintained, and elegantly luxurious, representing the true essence of heritage and timeless elegance. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a world-class experience!

The hotel is very well presented and the staff were excellent. We liked the apartment we stayed in, it was spacious and comfortable. The pool area was pleasant and not too busy. The location was great, just a short walk to lots of cafes and restaurants along with several restaurants in the hotel it meant we had plenty of options for food. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We checked in a night before my wife's birthday and whilst I asked for a better view because of that, Frances (a member of staff) was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite and even offered to send a birthday cake to our room. We're very touched by her kindness and will definitely stay at Gulf Hotel on our next visit.

The front office manager was an exceptional individual. Despite having made my reservation well in advance through Booking.com, the hotel was unable to locate it. Faced with the possibility of being left without accommodation — with my children nearly falling asleep on the sofa — he took the initiative to provide us with a room immediately, opting to resolve the issue with Booking.com after our check-in. His empathy and swift action were truly commendable. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, nor did he seem to have a nameplate on him.

The hotel was absolutely stunning. I loved everything about it. The room was extremely clean had everything in it that we needed plus more, the bed was to die for was so comfy. The bathroom was spotless and so spacious, the shower was huge and bath even bigger. We ate in the Mexican restaurant and it was delicious. We also ate in the pool bar and there was nothing to complain about at all. The pool was so clean and very well maintained. Above all else the stuff are amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Always happy and smiling. I loved everything about this hotel and experience. Thank you so much for everything.

My wife and I checked in around midnight on the 20th of February 2024, we had a smooth check in and the duty manager went out of his way to help us choose a room of our liking by showing us three different rooms!!! That was exceptional! We had booked a standard room, but we were upgraded to deluxe category. The dining options at the Gulf Hotel are just unbelievable...and they have live music at most of the venues and we had a wonderful time at the mexican restaurant Cantina with live music and dance. The ambience of the bar is amazing too with both indoor and outdoor sitting. In all, the Gulf has seven to eight restaurants offering different cuisines like Italian, Mexican, Iranian, etc. They also have a plush cigar lounge.. The pool at the Gulf is just outstanding and whether you're with family or by your self it is the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon or evening. To top this all is the location.... you step out of the Gulf right onto Block 338 which is the most happening area in Manama, full of bars, restaurants and lounges where the action begins as early as 10 am and continues till the wee hours. Breakfast at the hip Cafe Lilou is a 'must do' for anyone visiting Manama!

The hotel is amazing and strategically located, nearby points of interest (shopping and restaurants). Great facilities ! And the selection of restaurants INSIDE the hotel is just superb. The hotel's staff is absolutely amazing and helpful, very courteous and professional.
